Hello! My name is Joshua Escobar, and I am a student focused on developing skills in web development and digital design. Through CIS 197: Web Development with WordPress, I am learning how to build modern, responsive websites using content management systems (CMS) and industry best practices. I am particularly interested in creating clean, user-friendly designs that provide meaningful user experiences and effective communication.
I regularly visit and admire websites like Apple and DBrand. I admire the apple website for their clean layout, smooth animations, modern colors, which make it easy to navigate and visually engaging. DBrand is a website that draws my attention as it is sleek and has a minimalistic design on certain webpages. I enjoy there use of clean typography, high contrast visuals, and their navigation menu. They have what seems to be quite a bit of interactive and responsive layouts on certain webpages as well.
